For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified

My dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. … Do nothing out of favoritism. … Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. … Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales. … Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
