Yours is the power

The LORD is … great in power. … What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. … In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all.

The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. Therefore, men revere him. … Great is our Lord and mighty in power. … No one is like you, O LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power. Who should not revere you?

The God we serve is able to save us … he will rescue us. … You, dear children, are from God and have overcome … because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

In his great power God becomes like clothing to me; he binds me like the neck of my garment. … Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments.
