Peace to those far and near

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Ever-lasting Father, Prince of Peace. … But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Peace to you

Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. … For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in (Jesus), and through (Jesus) to reconcile to himself all things … whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

The God of peace be with you

To all … who are loved by God and called to be his holy people: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. … There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

Grace and peace to you from God

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you. … All your children will be taught by the LORD, and great will be their peace.

We have peace with God

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety. … The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. … The meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity. … Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace.

Live in peace with each other

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. … I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Be at peace with each other

I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. … Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. … How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!

That you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed

We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.

The Lord will lift you up

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. … You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.

What has happened to all your joy?

In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
