The LORD detests those whose hearts are perverse.
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.

The Lord does not look at the things human beings look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart … he knows our hearts, for he alone knows every human heart …
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance … a remnant chosen by grace … I have chosen you out of the world … so that you might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last.
