The Fruit of the Spirit is … Peace – 6

Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things … whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. … May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. … Peace to you.

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
