The Lord is For Us

The LORD is with me; he is my helper.

And God said, “I will be with you. … So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” … “I am with you,” declares the LORD.

May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. … May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. … Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.

From the west, people will fear the name of the LORD, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory. For he will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the LORD drives along. … No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

But the LORD is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. … If God is for us, who can be against us? … The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? … The God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us. … For God is with us.
