Call Upon the Lord

But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him.

Is anything too hard for the LORD? … Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this. … Trust in the Lord. … Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. … Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. … Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.

Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear. … For your Father knows what you need before you ask him. … The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

You will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. … In your distress you called and I rescued you. … Call on me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me. … You will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. … Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. … From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you.

Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. … The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. … I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. … God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
