Hell – 4

For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice.

The Lord Jesus will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power on the day he comes. … This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment.

Have you understood all these things?” Jesus asked. … “You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?”

From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry. … You will not abandon me to the grave. … For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave. … God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself. … For you have delivered me from death and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light of life. … I will deliver this people from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned. … Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
