Our Blessing – 2

May he give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham.

He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. … Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. … Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.

See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse—the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God.

The Lord will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you. … Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water.

The Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the Lord your God loves you. … Our God, however, turned the curse into a blessing. … For surely, O turned, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, O Lord, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.
