Our Fortress

Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress.

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely. … I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” … Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress.

But the Lord has become my fortress, and my God the rock in whom I take refuge. … Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

You are my strength, I watch for you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely. … Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. … The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.

Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.

The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. … Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. … The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
