But God

But God is the builder of everything. … But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

But God found fault with the people. … But God knows your hearts. … But God tests our hearts. … But God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.

But God is one. … But God knows. … But God has seen my hardship and the toil of my hands. … But God will surely come to your aid.

But God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. … But God will be with you.

But God has surely listened and has heard my prayer. … But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us. … But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. … But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead; he will surely take me to himself. … Who can forgive sins but God alone?

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. … But God raised (Jesus of Nazareth) from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. … But God, the very God … gives you his Holy Spirit.
