Corruption – 1

Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways.

The land you are entering to possess is a land polluted by the corruption of its peoples. By their detestable practices they have filled it with their impurity from one end to the other.

People of corrupt mind … have been robbed of the truth. … Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.” … The Lord knows how to … hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority.

He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. … That the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. … All have turned away, all have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. … A troublemaker and a villain (go) about with a corrupt mouth. … One whose heart is corrupt does not prosper; one whose tongue is perverse falls into trouble. … The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
