The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.
Every word of God is flawless. … It is written: “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” … Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. … Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. … For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
(They) tasted the goodness of the word of God … So the word of God spread. … The word of God continued to spread and flourish. … Because you know the Father … because you know him who is from the beginning … you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
