In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling.
Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the LORD your God redeemed you … “Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.’”
There is no one like you, LORD, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth whose God went out to redeem a people for himself, and to make a name for yourself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt? You made your people Israel your very own forever, and you, LORD, have become their God … Redeem Israel, O God, from all their troubles!
Remember the people you purchased long ago, the tribe of your inheritance, whom you redeemed—“They are your servants and your people, whom you redeemed by your great strength and your mighty hand … With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.
