Not my will, but yours be done

Going a little farther, (Jesus) fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” … “Father … not my will, but yours be done.” … He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father … may your will be done.”

The righteousness that God desires

But go and learn what this means: “I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. … Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
