Philippians

My soul rejoices in my God

I will greatly rejoice in the LORD. … I will extol the LORD at all times: his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.

The joy of the Lord is your strength

Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. … Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. … He is my God, and I will praise him and I will exalt

Thanksgiving – 5

I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise!

Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.
