Ecclesiastes

May my meditation be pleasing to him as I rejoice in the Lord

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. … For the Lord will take delight in you.

Who is lord over us?

Who is like the wise? Who knows the explanation of things?

Listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping

This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears. … People of Zion, you will weep no more. … Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.

I am with you, declares the Lord

For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. … And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands
